I have just discovered a most important question: what was John Darnielle doing in 1998 and 1999? Did The Coronor's Gambit take two years to write? Was he touring the whole time? Was he drunk for two years straight? Did he go to all the places for which he wrote "Going to" songs, which could explain why he wrote none after 1996? Somebody find out.
